The Apartment

So I’m giving up my apartment.  I just gave notice.   It will be empty as of June 1,  but I expect to be using it very little in the last two or three weeks of the month.

If any responsible individual would like to either 1. move in and enjoy a couple weeks of rent paid by moi, or 2. needs an almost unfurnished place to stay while they’re in Toronto for the last two weeks of May (for a small lump o’ cash or a favour), then please, let me know.

My plans are still in flux, but more about that some other time.

I’d like to just hop in the car and go south, but I’m thinking more and more, I need a week of deep, restful peace before doing any real heavy travel.

I have trouble beliving that I can’t just head down to Cancun by car, have some Mexicans overhaul my vehicle on the cheap (fixing all the rust spots, doing detailing etc), and while it’s on the hoist, find a boat from Cancun to Cuba.  Maybe I should just out how to do that as I go.
